Travel Physical Therapist Opportunity

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient experience required, including conducting 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions.
• Experience with documentation, goal writing, functional outcome assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, progress patients toward discharge, and provide patient/family education.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and students as appropriate.
• Preferred: Prior experience in a high-volume outpatient clinic and familiarity with safe patient handling techniques and materials handling protocols.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Duration: 13-week assignment with client interest in 6-month availability.
• Patient Flow: 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Comprehensive evaluations, development and modification of treatment plans, documentation, and participation in performance improvement activities.
• May participate in student supervision and professional development activities as assigned.
