MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the MS/Tele unit is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. RNs are required to have competency in phlebotomy and IV placement. The position involves critical thinking and clinical skills to manage patients with cardiac diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions.
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Utilize rapid response teams effectively.
• Perform phlebotomy and IV placements as necessary.
• Manage oxygen therapy using nasal cannulas and face masks.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• NY State RN license is required in hand to submit.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
