OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT – FULL TIME GROSSMONT POST ACUTE – LA MESA, CA TUESDAY-SATURDAY or SUNDAY-THURSDAY SCHEDULE Join our team and start making a difference! Grossmont Post Acute in La Mesa, CA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for our in-house rehab program! Full Time: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday schedule Pay: $37 - $41 /hour based on experience and willingness to work weekends Duties: Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision. Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision. Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
