The Opportunity We have an immediate opportunity for a Financial Analyst in our Lake County, Abbott Park, IL location. The Financial Analyst provides FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) support to the Global Procurement Services organization. Oversees financial processes and activities and provides analytics to support strategic business decisions. What You'll Work On: * This position supports Global Procurement and reports to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis. * Support month end close and LBE processes. Complete variance analysis and commentary for LBE and month end submissions. * Develop forecasts and prepare supporting analytics for key budget items such as payroll and other key projects.

• Complete consolidations and reporting of monthly actuals and LBE.
• Identify risks and opportunities and work with leadership team to bring

insights forward. * Provide ad hoc analysis to support key projects or other related activities as required. * Assist with analysis and preparation of materials for the annual Plan for presentation to Vice President, Global Procurement, Corporate Controller and

CFO.

* Drive continuous improvements and simplifications in financial and business processes. * Work both independently and in groups in a variety of situations requiring analytical and critical thinking skills. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

• 2-4 years experience in financial planning, analysis and accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, variance analysis skills, accuracy and

attention to detail. * Effective communication skills; ability to synthesize complex, technical issues and summarize with clarity. * Ability to manage many competing priorities and execute in a pressurized environment. Preferred Qualifications: * Proficient with financial modeling, systems, and other tools including Excel, Hyperion Essbase and SAP.
