Financial Analyst | Chicago, IL (Hybrid) A global professional-services organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, profitability analysis, budgeting, and data-quality initiatives across the business. This is a strong opportunity for an early-career finance, accounting, or consulting professional who enjoys working with data, partnering with business leaders, and helping turn financial information into actionable insights. Responsibilities Prepare standard and ad‑hoc reports analyzing key performance indicators and profitability by business unit, office, and individual contributor. Support monthly financial reporting packages, senior‑management review discussions, and follow‐up analysis. Develop reporting specifications and pull data from financial reporting systems. Investigate and resolve financial‑reporting questions in partnership with analysts and cross‑functional stakeholders. Conduct recurring audits of financial‑system data to ensure accuracy and adherence to reporting procedures. Assist with annual budgeting, lateral‑hire analysis, quarterly and annual bank surveys, and reporting‑tool maintenance. Qualifications 1–2+ years of finance, accounting, consulting, or analytical experience. Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with financial reporting software or business intelligence tools. Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
