Staff Accountant – Staff Accountant / Tax Preparer – We are looking for a 0-2 year experienced tax preparer. Salary – $45-55k depending on experience. Full-time There is plenty of room for advancement and opportunity in the future. We are a full service accounting firm that seeks to provide the utmost customer service and expertise to our clients while maintaining integrity and working together as a team in all aspects. Our team works hard during tax season and has much more flexible and laid back approach for the remainder of the year. Responsibilities Include: Working with multiple clients across many industries Business and Individual tax preparation Analyzing balance sheet and profit and loss accounts for any needed adjustments Interaction with clients to collect information as well as follow up with questions Functional/Technical Skills: No prior experience needed, previous internships a plus QuickBooks and Prosystem Tax experience is a plus Bachelors of Science with a business degree Proficiency in Word, Excel & Outlook Ability and willingness to quickly learn new software and/or tasks Ability to work alone or as part of a team Superior level of accuracy in work and attention to detail Benefits Include: Generous vacation package.
