Help us embed quality at the source on 2nd shift in Ripon, WI. Operating under the general direction of the Quality Leader, you will align design and process compatibility for existing products and partner with Supplier Quality Engineers, Product Engineering, and Purchasing to confirm capability of current and new suppliers. Your work week runs Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm–1:00am.
Role essentials- Location: Ripon, WI (onsite)
- Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm–1:00am
- Drive disciplined problem-solving and help train teams to use structured methods effectively.
- Build and sustain Control Plans; own PFMEA upkeep to control processes and reduce risk.
- Run and interpret process/machine capability studies to highlight gaps and prioritize improvements.
- Own the tracking and resolution of supplier quality and productivity concerns.
- Specify, source, and implement inspection/testing equipment for assigned production areas.
- Lead and oversee quality process control and audit personnel.
- Create and maintain audit and test records that align with engineering specifications.
- Enable smooth new design introductions by aligning processes with engineering requirements.
- Manage KPI board follow-through—clearly assign who does what by when to meet targets.
- Champion an “Everyone Owns Quality” mindset through engagement and problem-solving at the point of occurrence.
- AS in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing discipline (required)
- BS in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing discipline (desired)
- 2–4 years in quality assurance/control
- Hands-on with quality tools: capability studies, process mapping, FMEA, control charts; exposure to advanced Six Sigma practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience contributing within a project team environment
- Extended sitting; periods of standing; manual dexterity; stooping; bending; minimal lifting
