Essential Responsibilities Provide excellent college‑preparatory instruction to all scholars, maintaining a supportive, achievement‑oriented, and collaborative classroom culture. Develop and implement daily lesson plans, instructional materials, and exit tickets aligned to rigorous college‑ready standards. Use assessment data—exit tickets, unit tests, interim exams—to differentiate instruction and provide re‑teaching that advances all scholars toward mastery. Collaborate with peers to ensure appropriate accommodations and support are available for scholars of diverse learning needs. Uphold Alliance values, support the College‑Ready Graduate Profile, and build relationships with faculty, staff, families, and alumni. Minimum Qualifications California teaching credential in the assigned subject area(s) and a valid English Learner Authorization. For chemistry teachers: California Single Subject Credential in Science: Chemistry or Specialized: Chemistry (Clear or Preliminary); or equivalent credential. Bachelor’s degree. Candidates without a credential must provide transcripts for emergency teaching permit evaluation. All applicants must be able to demonstrate a pathway to obtaining a California teaching credential or meet the specified credential requirements.
