Essential Responsibilities Provide college‑preparatory instruction to all scholars and foster a high‑expectation, collaborative classroom culture. Responsibilities include: Execute assigned curriculum and support scholars to reach college‑ready standards. Develop daily lesson plans, instructional materials, and exit tickets aligned to rigorous standards. Use assessment data (exit tickets, unit tests, interim exams) to differentiate instruction and determine re‑teaching needs. Collaborate with peers to provide necessary accommodations and support. Create a coherent classroom culture that supports scholar engagement, learning, and well‑being. Build strong relationships with faculty, staff, families, scholars, and alumni. Growth mindset and dedication to continual professional growth. Minimum Qualifications California teaching credential in the assigned subject area(s) and a valid English‑Learner Authorization. Applicants may hold or be working toward credentials such as: California Single‑Subject Credential in Spanish (Clear or Preliminary). California University or District Intern Credential in Spanish. Equivalent out‑of‑state credential, subject to transfer criteria. California Multiple‑Subject or Single‑Subject Credential with Introductory Supplementary Authorization in Spanish for middle school positions. Bachelor’s degree. Candidates without a credential must provide transcripts for evaluation for an emergency teaching permit. Applicants without a current credential or a verifiable pathway toward obtaining one will not be considered. Benefits Competitive salaries commensurate with experience.
