LABOR & EMPLOYMENT ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

The Dallas, Texas office of FBT Gibbons LLP is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of substantive and substantial employment litigation experience
• Experience providing advice and counsel on employment matters
• Experience with wage / hour compliance and defense, non-compete, confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements
• Experience representing employers in state and federal courts and before state and federal agencies
• Experience drafting position statements, settlement agreements, employment agreements, and independent contractor agreements.
• Ability to assist with investigations, witness interviews, and provide detailed written memorandums.
• Superior academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Texas licensure

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $205,000 to $220,000 , reflecting a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.

Associates Are Also Eligible For

• Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum objective bonus opportunities ranging from approximately $14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level
• Annual subjective bonus
