Budget Analyst

Job Title
Assists higher graded specialists in the preparation of budget estimates and justification by providing relevant information and advice to program managers.
Assists with preparing fund status reports for senior management.
Reviews historical data and current spending information and trends to support the development of consolidated budget estimates for core activities.
Enters and adjusts data for the programs into regular and recurring reports, forms and schedules.
Assists in establishment of activity schedules to meet planned objectives.
Providing factual, technical information to co-workers or supervisors regarding the status of budget data, required documentation, or basic funding procedures.
Reviewing transactions or budget documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with clearly established procedures or instructions.
