Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our hospital facility in Fullerton, where a collaborative work atmosphere is prioritized. Our rehabilitation clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic tools and technologies, providing a supportive environment for both patients and staff. The typical work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility expected to accommodate patient needs and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in creating and executing personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patient mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and stretches while maintaining awareness of their physical capacities and comfort levels.
• Educate patients on appropriate body mechanics, exercise techniques, and establish home exercise programs to encourage recovery outside clinical settings.
• Administer treatment modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Document and monitor patient progress meticulously, noting changes in range of motion, strength improvements, and functional capabilities.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring therapeutic equipment is clean, organized, and ready for efficient use during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and rights are respected at all times.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 per year, contingent on experience and qualifications.
