Responsibilities Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing and managing case files. Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court rules. Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide attorneys with relevant case law and precedents. Coordinate and manage communication with clients, witnesses, and court officials to facilitate smooth case progression. Review and summarize depositions, interrogatories, and other legal documents to provide concise case insights.Maintain and update case management systems, ensuring all information is current and accessible for the legal team. Support attorneys in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, preparing trial notebooks, and managing logistics for court appearances. Qualifications You MUST have a minimum of 3 years of prior litigation experience. You MUST live close to the office or be willing to relocate. Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred. Experience in civil and probate litigation is not required, but is a plus. Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and local court filing requirements. Experience managing deadlines, discovery, and trial prep. Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Flexible, resourceful, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask effectively. Professional, empathetic, and client-centered demeanor. Proficiency with case management software (preferably Clio), Microsoft Office, and CRM tools (preferred). #J-18808-Ljbffr
