Community Medical Facility is in need of a Medical Assistant

Monday Through Friday

Must be bilingual SPANISH (if you aren't Bilingual please don't apply)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Bilingual Spanish Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and will assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring effective communication with Spanish-speaking patients.

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures

• Translate and interpret communication between providers and Spanish-speaking patients

• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and symptoms

• Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures

• Schedule appointments and manage patient records

• Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms

• Handle basic administrative duties such as answering phones and verifying insurance

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred

• Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) required

• Previous experience in a medical or clinical setting preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Cultural sensitivity and patient-centered care
