About the Role: Little General LLC is looking for a passionate and driven Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary operations in Columbia, MO. Responsibilities: Oversee all daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service execution Hire, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure peak performance Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency to uphold company standards Manage food inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to control costs Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance at all times Develop and update menu items in collaboration with ownership and management Track kitchen labor and food costs, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency Requirements: 2+ years of kitchen management or culinary leadership experience Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain) Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a kitchen team Experience with inventory management, food costing, and ordering Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with composure Excellent organizational and time management skills Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays About Us: Little General LLC is a proud local establishment serving the Columbia, MO community with quality food and genuine hospitality.
