Key Responsibilities for Clinical Manager - ER:
- Provide leadership and oversight of the emergency department, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
- Supervise, mentor, and support ER nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered work environment.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance patient outcomes and staff performance.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
- Monitor and manage department budgets, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and hospital leadership to optimize patient care strategies.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and staff training programs to maintain excellence in emergency care.
- Address and resolve patient and staff concerns, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program (Master's preferred).
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Minimum 5 years of emergency department nursing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality improvement practices.
