Inpatient Hospice RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

3 shifts per week, consisting of 12-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7:30 PM, including every other weekend.

The Inpatient Hospice RN will provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a hospice setting, focusing on quality of life and comfort during end-of-life care. The position requires effective communication and the ability to manage care activities in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established hospice policies and protocols.
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans with emphasis on comfort and quality of life.
Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and the care team.
Monitor patient progress and adapt care plans as necessary.
Document all patient interactions and care in compliance with regulations and policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Prior experience in hospice care is required.
Proficiency with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) is preferred; candidates without HCHB experience may be considered at a reduced rate for training.
Current RN license is required.
