We are currently seeking Support Staff professionals to join our growing Adult Residential and Crisis programs serving adults, children, and families across the North Country. These are rewarding opportunities for individuals who want to make a meaningful impact while building experience in behavioral health, human services, psychology, social work, or crisis support.

We Are Hiring For

  • Full-Time and Part-Time positions
  • Evening (2nd Shift) and Overnight (3rd Shift) schedules
  • Adult Residential Programs
  • Adult & Children's Crisis Houses

What You'll Do

As a Support Staff team member, you will provide direct support to individuals experiencing mental health, behavioral health, or life stability challenges by helping create a safe, supportive, recovery-focused environment.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting residents and participants with daily living skills
  • Providing emotional support, de-escalation, and encouragement
  • Assisting individuals in developing coping and wellness strategies
  • Maintaining a safe, structured, and welcoming environment
  • Supporting transportation, appointments, activities, and community integration
  • Observing self-medication administration per program protocols
  • Documenting services and participant interactions
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary behavioral health teams
  • Assisting during crisis stabilization and recovery support services

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Human services, behavioral health, psychology, social work, or related experience preferred
  • Experience supporting individuals with mental health or substance use challenges is a plus
  • Valid NYS Driver's License required
  • Ability to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
