Evening & Weekend Service Desk Supervisor

The Feinberg Library assists students, faculty, staff, and the community in their intellectual activities by providing resources and services in support of research, teaching, and learning. We strive to help our users develop information literacy essential for life-long learning and becoming well-informed, reflective global citizens. This position is responsible for overseeing the work of student employees who assist with these functions during the evening and weekend hours. Typical hours for this part-time position include Friday 4pm-8pm, Saturday 11am-8pm, and Sunday 12pm-7pm. This position usually follows a college year calendar of late August to mid-September and late January to mid-May. Additional hours may be available at various times of the semester or year. Required Qualifications: Ability to work as a team player, strong customer service skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong computer skills, willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends, a demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, staff and administrators.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree or equivalent experience, experience in a library, experience with online circulation systems, supervisory experience.
