Job Summary This is an ideal opportunity for an emerging designer who wants to build their skills while working on a wide variety of integrated campaigns and brands. Working closely with Art Directors, senior creatives, copywriters and cross-functional agency teams, the Graphic Designer develops polished, production-ready creative for print, digital, social and other channels. The right candidate has a strong foundation in design principles, typography and layout, along with the curiosity, responsiveness and attention to detail needed to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment. Key Responsibilities Design & Creative Execution Create polished digital and print layouts, graphics, templates and other campaign assets. Translate established creative concepts and brand systems into a wide range of executions, sizes and formats. Maintain strong visual and brand consistency across deliverables. Apply thoughtful typography, hierarchy, composition and design principles to everyday creative assignments. Support senior creatives with concept development, mood boards, visual exploration and campaign execution. Production Support Prepare accurate, production-ready files for print, digital, social and other media channels. Work with Producers and Media teams to understand and meet technical specifications and requirements. Resize, version and adapt creative assets efficiently across multiple platforms and placements. Support pitches, client presentations and new business efforts with visual comps, layouts and presentation design. Carefully proof and quality-check files before internal review or delivery. Partner with Copywriters and other Creative team members to align visual design with messaging and campaign strategy. Collaborate with Account Management, Media and Production teams to ensure creative meets project objectives, timelines, budgets and specifications. Participate actively in creative reviews, brainstorms and team discussions. Receive and incorporate feedback from Art Directors and senior team members with professionalism and curiosity. Client Service Support Respond quickly and thoughtfully to revisions, feedback and evolving project needs. Demonstrate strong organization, responsiveness and reliability in meeting deadlines. Help ensure creative deliverables are accurate, polished and ready for client presentation or production. Serve as an ambassador and steward of the agency’s collaborative, proactive and engaged culture. Model and reinforce the agency’s core values through behaviors and decision-making. Foster an environment where team members feel supported, empowered and inspired to do their best work. Be a proactive ambassador of the agency’s narrative, ensuring team members, clients and external stakeholders understand and experience the unique value we bring. What We’re Looking For 1-3 years of professional design experience, including internships, freelance work or relevant agency experience. Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals, including typography, layout, visual hierarchy and composition. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Familiarity with Figma and other digital design tools preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, polished work. Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Highly responsive, organized and dependable. Curious, positive and collaborative, with an eagerness to learn and grow. Comfortable receiving feedback and applying it to continuously improve the work. This role is based at our Rancho Cordova office, with a hybrid schedule of four in-office days per week.
