Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled and caring Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join a burgeoning team of imaging experts dedicated to delivering remarkable care. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic examinations, collaborate with a supportive team of clinicians, and bring reassurance to patients through timely and accurate imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each phase with kindness and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic outputs
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in the electronic medical record system
• Stay informed about the latest advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

• Strong capability in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
