Representative Role OverviewA leading investment bank or advisory firm may seek a Private Placements Analyst to support the origination, execution, and management of private debt and equity offerings . These roles are ideal for candidates seeking hands-on experience in capital raising, investor engagement, and deal structuring within a fast-paced financial environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain financial models for private debt and equity transactions, including cash flow analysis, IRR calculations, and investor returns
Conduct industry research, benchmarking, and valuation analyses to support private placement offerings
Support live private debt placements, equity offerings, and structured capital solutions
Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, and investor presentations
Assist with due diligence, subscription document management, and transaction execution
Collaborate with senior bankers and internal teams across deal structuring, investor relations, and capital raising workflows
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation, and investor reporting
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, private placements, capital markets, or corporate finance is beneficial
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools
