Maintenance Assistant

POSITION PURPOSE: Assists the Maintenance Director in the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility. Assures the facility is well-maintained in a safe manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION: Assists with the maintenance of the building, grounds, security, and equipment of the facility. Performs daily walkthroughs and inspections of the facility and resident rooms to address any needed repairs. Assists with maintaining important records and paperwork. Assists the Maintenance Director to ensure compliance with federal, state, and Life Safety requirements. Conducts monthly fire drills and other drills as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned EDUCATION/ REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent required. A working knowledge of tools, repair techniques, wiring, painting, plumbing and related repairs. 1 year of maintenance experience preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Kenwood-Health-Center,-LL
