Director of Finance

Director Of FinanceCentury Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Director of Finance to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $150,000 to $165,000 per year.Job ResponsibilitiesOversee financial reporting processes and ensure accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.Manage audit activities by coordinating with external partners and ensuring proper documentation and controls.Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk while maintaining strong banking relationships.Lead budgeting processes and track performance against financial plans, providing recommendations as needed.Partner with leadership across departments to deliver insights, support decision making, and drive strategic initiatives.RequirementsA Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.8+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks.Previous experience working in nonprofit, fund, or structured financial environments.Advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.QualificationsCertified public accountant credential or equivalent experience.Strong leadership abilities with experience collaborating with senior stakeholders.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.Effective communication skills for presenting financial information clearly to non finance audiences.Proactive and strategic mindset with the ability to drive process improvements and organizational growth.
