Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Outsourcing and Strategic Initiatives leads complex portfolio workstreams and high‑visibility initiatives that enhance service quality, cost efficiency, and business outcomes across assigned hospitals and vendor partners. Operating with substantial independence, this role owns results for assigned portfolios, leads cross‑functional teams, and mentors/manages a mid‑sized to large-sized team. The Senior Manager exercises independent judgment to approve process/operational changes within portfolio guardrails,
innovates novel operational solutions, recommends policy and processes changes to executive leadership, and implements leadership‑approved solutions that drive measurable KPI improvements in quality, timeliness, and cost.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, or related field with four (4) years of relevant experience, Or Master’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, or related field with three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Within the above experience, a minimum of two (2) years of cross-functional program leadership and people management experience is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Revenue Cycle Management functions or related healthcare financial operations
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex initiatives, coordinating across multiple functional teams, and exercising independent judgment in executing program objectives.
- Work knowledge with Revenue Cycle systems and applications, such as EHR, billing, or financial systems.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and time‑management skills.
- Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills to address defined operational needs. Ability to validate data accuracy and draw logical conclusions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven expertise in vendor governance, financial decision‑making, stakeholder negotiation.
- Strong capabilities in development and delivery of executive‑level communications and presentations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project or Visio.
Preferred qualifications:
- Working knowledge of SQL or similar query tools a plus.
- Experience with Data visualization (e.g., Power BI/Tableau) a plus.
- Certifications (preferred): PMP, SQL, Scrum Master, Lean/Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, HFMA CRCR or similar.
