Onsite Service Specialist

Our client, in Brooking SD , a leading industrial supply and inventory management organization, is seeking an Onsite Service Specialist to join their team. As an Onsite Service Specialist, you will be part of the Customer Solutions Department supporting inventory management and customer operations teams . The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills , strong problem-solving abilities , and effective communication skills , which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Onsite Service Specialist
Location: Brookings, SD
Pay Range: 20.50 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Manage onsite inventory solutions, including VMI, vending, and storeroom programs to support customer operations.
• Perform ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventory optimization activities to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and execution of the CARE program.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and coordinate repairs of vending and inventory management equipment.
• Utilize Salesforce and routing software to document daily activities, track service efforts, and identify growth opportunities.

What’s Needed?

• Experience in telephone sales, outside sales, inventory management, storeroom operations, or customer service.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven track record of success with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work on your feet for extended periods, and comply with customer safety and PPE requirements.
