About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Technology & AI Officer to take on a pivotal role in driving the strategic vision and technical leadership for digital transformation and AI initiatives. This executive position is not advisory; the successful candidate will be a hands-on leader, deeply involved in the organization's programs and operations. The role involves providing product and technical leadership, leading the go-to-market strategy for shared tooling, and shaping the expansion of offerings, particularly in the areas of digital delivery and elections. The Chief Technology & AI Officer will also be responsible for leading the integration of AI with a focus on responsible adoption, setting long-term technology infrastructure direction, and owning and delivering on organizational priorities as part of a doer Executive Team. Candidates for this role at the company should be passionate about the potential of technology to serve the public interest and must be capable of building trust and credibility with government partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and leading multidisciplinary teams, with a strong emphasis on technical and product leadership. Experience in leading responsible AI adoption, setting technical standards, and bridging the gap between technical and non-technical worlds is essential. The role requires a leader who can not only set the technical direction but also ensure the organization's technical fluency and capacity are continuously growing. The Chief Technology & AI Officer will be expected to embody the values of the company and to be a key player in the organization's mission to modernize government service delivery.
