The desire of our employees to stretch is critical to effectively, and with greater flexibility, plan project assignments and subsequently position our people and the company for future success.Responsibilities of this Role Include:Partnering with client staff of all levels to understand issues and needs, and working to solve them through the development of AI & analytical toolsDeveloping and validating financial models and analytical tool(s)/software used for portfolio management, financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-makingDefining AI enabled functional requirements and designing testing strategies for analytical software applicationsAnalyzing and interpreting complex data sets in various software using statistical and econometric techniquesClearly communicating complex, technical concepts to both technical and non-technical clientsPlanning and executing project tasksWorking closely with internal Project Managers and teammates to facilitate project supportActively seeking out opportunities for FI to expand the solutions we offer to our clientsWe need client facing talent who currently demonstrate a strong blend of technical skills, and essential soft skills with a commitment to continuous learning in the rapidly evolving field of AI. Previous and current use of productivity tools is required Purpose: answering questions, generating text, help with creating documents, emails, etc.Examples: ChatGPT, MS Copilot, Gemini, etc. Previous and current use of creative tools is desired Purpose: software code, video, graphics generation, etc.Examples: Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot, ect. Incorporating AI into solutions is nice to have Purpose: making AI algorithms part of technology solutionsExamples: neural networks, predictive algorithms, large language models, etc. These individuals should be able to clearly discuss how and when they have used the tools. They understand AI by actively applying it to solve real-world problems and drive business success. Their personality traits:Intellectual Curiosity: A strong desire to learn and explore new AI concepts.Problem-solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to apply AI knowledge to new challenges.Learning Agility: Ability to quickly adapt and learn new AI tools and techniques.Minimum Qualifications:2 - 4 years of relevant work experience within consulting or in a corporate or government environmentBachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Financial Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics or other applicable quantitative or technical fieldProficient with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and PowerPointFamiliarity with and aptitude for programming languages such as SAS, Python, VBA, SQL, and RData Visualization experience using Power BI or TableauInterest and ability to work in a project-based environment with specific deadlines, where the schedule can be unpredictable at timeHigh attention to detail and ability to ensure high quality workDemonstrated ability to understand complex data and business processes, and communicate your findings in a clear, concise manner that builds trust and confidence with our clientsWho We AreFI Consulting is a 80+ person professional services firm that helps government and commercial financial institutions solve hard problems in data, analytics, modeling, and technology.
