Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments through detailed examinations and review of medical histories to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests including lab work and imaging studies, using findings to inform treatment strategies.
• Diagnose and effectively manage acute health conditions, including but not limited to respiratory infections, injuries, and minor surgical needs.
• Create individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic conditions, adjusting based on patient progress and evidence-based guidelines.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and monitor treatment efficacy, making adjustments as needed to optimize health outcomes.
• Maintain detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring accurate documentation of care provided.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
• Champion health promotion initiatives within the clinic while serving as an advocate for patient-centered care.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development pursuits to remain current with best practices in urgent care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant in our urgent care setting, you will care for a wide-ranging patient demographic, including children, adults, and elderly patients. You will address both acute and chronic medical issues and play a vital role in coordinating care across various disciplines. Qualifications

• A valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) and current DEA number are required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies with an accredited program background.

Compensation and Benefits
