Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active LPN or LVN license
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting highly valued
• Familiarity with care planning, medication administration, and emergency response
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff
• Strong record-keeping and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and adjust to changing needs in a busy educational setting
• CPR certification and TB clearance (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver essential nursing care, including medication administration, chronic health management, and urgent first response for illness or injury
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student health plans and educational success
• Participate in care team meetings, IEPs, and staff development sessions as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation of health services in compliance with district, local, and state guidelines
• Educate students on wellness strategies and healthy habits
• Support preventative health screenings and immunization compliance
• Serve as a trusted resource for staff and students throughout the school day
