What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supervise and coordinate cooks and dishwashers, and lead the kitchen in the Executive Chef’s absence.
  • Oversee food prep, presentation, and quality; maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate on menu development, introducing seasonal and innovative dishes.
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control costs to minimize waste.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to ensure adherence to recipes and standards.
  • Inspect shift-end cleanup, maintain kitchen organization, and assist other departments as needed.

Who You Are

  • Experienced & Knowledgeable – Culinary degree or certificate with 3+ years of kitchen management experience.
  • Leader & Mentor – Skilled at coaching teams while maintaining accountability and high standards.
  • Creative & Detail-Oriented – Passionate about flavor, presentation, and quality.
  • Physically Capable – Able to stand long periods, lift 30+ pounds, and manage a busy kitchen.
  • Certified & Safety-Minded – ServSafe and Food Allergen certified; committed to compliance.
  • Flexible & Resilient – Ready for evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
