Assistant Project Manager

Overview Herzog Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking Assistant Project Manager in Fort Worth, TX to join our team. HTI is developing industry-leading products, and at the forefront of Positive Train Control. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who is always learning; has demonstrated attention to detail and flexibility; can work well individually; works well with others; and is willing to become an expert in areas of PTC and railroading. The job includes mostly office work and may include occasional travel opportunities. Duties and Responsibilities: *This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position. Assist project managers in planning, organizing, and executing projects to meet objectives, timelines, and budgets. Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments. Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes and action items. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of project milestones. Track project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and recommend solutions to ensure project objectives are met. Monitor project expenses against budget and provide regular reports on financial status to project managers. Conduct research and provide support in preparing project-related materials, including presentations, proposals, and reports. Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position. Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required. Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role, with 1-3 years of experience is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and meet strict deadlines. Knowledge of budgeting and financial tracking is beneficial. Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
