Job Summary:

Position Title: Registered Nurse

Location: Vestal, NY 13850

Duration: 16 weeks

Work Schedule: Night 5x8-Hour (10:45 PM - 07:15 AM)

Pay rate: $42 - $48

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility, ensuring comfort, safety, and quality of life.
• Assess residents' physical, mental, and emotional health and report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote independence whenever possible.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Perform wound care, catheter care, IV therapy (if applicable), and other skilled nursing procedures.

• 1 year plus of LTC experience, will accept clinicians with other recent specialty experience. Like rehab, med surg, hospital experience.
• Active RN license for the state of New York.
• BLS/CPR
