Basketball Mens - Graduate Assistant

Waldorf University (NAIA/GPAC) , located in Forest City, Iowa, seeks applicants for a Graduate Assistant—Men's Basketball. The appointment includes an online graduate tuition waiver over 12 consecutive online academic terms (18 months to 2 years) and a monetary stipend of $10,350 per year (spread over 9 months). The anticipated work/stipend schedule will be determined based on start date, which typically follows the academic calendar from the end of July through graduation in May. Primary Responsibilities Assist in monitoring the academic progress of student athletes Oversee weight training and conditioning sessions Perform individual skill development workouts Conduct film exchange analysis Complete onsite coaching duties Learn and involve in all phases of the recruiting process Other duties as assigned by the head coach Requirements Must have prior related collegiate playing or coaching experience Dedication to students and an interest in pursuing a career in coaching and/or administration Valid driver’s license with a good driving record Evenings and weekend travel required Completion of Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA meeting acceptance standards of the graduate program as found in the Graduate Online Admissions section of the catalog at by start date Assistantship Start Date: end of July, no later than mid‑August.
