Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Metairie, LA dealership. This role is responsible for structuring and finalizing vehicle finance and lease deals, presenting financing and protection products to customers, and ensuring all transactions comply with lender, dealership, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day duties include reviewing credit applications, securing approvals from financial institutions, preparing and explaining finance documents, and accurately submitting contracts and funding packages. The Finance Manager collaborates closely with sales and management teams to support profitability goals, maintain high customer satisfaction, and uphold transparent and ethical finance practices. The role also involves monitoring deal pipelines, tracking key performance metrics, and assisting with process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong finance and accounting skills, including understanding of lending practices, credit evaluation, contract structures, and basic financial analysis. Candidates should possess customer-focused skills, such as clear communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex financing terms in an accessible manner. Candidates should possess sales and negotiation skills, including experience presenting financial products, overcoming objections, and closing deals while maintaining ethical standards. Candidates should possess compliance and documentation skills, including attention to detail, familiarity with regulatory requirements, and accurate completion and review of contracts. Candidates should possess organizational and technical skills, such as proficiency with dealership management systems, finance software, and the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously. Relevant qualifications include prior automotive finance or F&I experience, or experience in banking, lending, or related financial services.
