Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine

About this role As an Orthopedic Surgeon for Sports Medicine and part of the Musculoskeletal team at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you can expect to work at Spanish Fork Hospital; seeing a mix of OR and in-office orthopedic surgical patients. Position includes a sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance (if applicable). Practice at Spanish Fork Hospital. Schedule: 2 days per week in clinic (dedicated in‑office) and 2 days in OR for surgical time. Some patient‑preferred hours will be required with local community travel in Utah County. Orthopedic 1 and 6 call required for Level3 trauma patients; compensation offered for call requirements. Local ASC with potential to participate. What you'll bring Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree; or equivalent if education completed outside the United States. Completion of a graduate fellowship medical education training program in Orthopedic Surgery with CAQ board certification in Sports Medicine. Graduate education obtained through an ACGME or AOA accredited institution. ABMS or equivalent AOA board certification in the specialty or subspecialty of practice. Fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and completion of CAQ. Active medical licensure, or in the process of obtaining licensure, is required in the state where the physician will practice. Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. DEA registration schedules II–V. Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
