As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms as needed. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to associates, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution center interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and drivers, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
