• Shift: Combination of 8- and 24-hour shifts on a rotating 7-week schedule
• Hours/Week: Approximately 170 hours/month

• Licenses/Certifications: BC/BE Neonatology (new grads welcomed if BC in Pediatrics)
• Experience: Previous Neonatology experience preferred

What You ll Do

• Provide in-house neonatology coverage at a busy Level-III NICU with approximately 6,000 deliveries annually
• Collaborate with a team of physicians, residents, and nurse practitioners
• Manage a diverse caseload, including general neonatal cases and some trauma
• Participate in quality improvement and research initiatives affiliated with KU School of Medicine - Wichita
• Offer backup call from home, ensuring continuous patient care
• Support the hospital s commitment to excellence in neonatal care

What You Need

• Valid medical license and certifications required
• BC/BE in Neonatology; new fellows are encouraged to apply if BC in Pediatrics
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
