Physician Assistant | Surgery - Neurosurgery Location: Greenville, SC Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Neurosurgery Physician Assistant Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to join our team in providing expert care in an inpatient/acute care setting. The position involves supporting a team of 6 MDs, 1 RN, and 4 MAs with a varied patient volume, primarily adults. The schedule includes 10-hour (7a-5p) or 12-hour (7a-7p) shifts, with one weeknight call and one weekend day per call week. Typical days consist of approximately 12 MDs in clinic, with 1 NP and additional APPs present 12x per week. Patients are scheduled from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, with rounds required prior to clinic. Procedures involve diagnostic and therapeutic taps, surgical care, suturing, EVD placement, lumbar drains, lumbar punctures, ICP monitor placements, and primary surgical of complex wounds.
