Production Coordinator

Role: Production Coordinator (Live Events & AV) Type: Part-Time (20 hrs/week) Join a growing, mission-driven organization focused on delivering engaging live experiences and meaningful community impact. You'll work alongside passionate leaders and volunteers in a collaborative, service-oriented environment. What You'll Do Coordinate production support for weekly gatherings, rehearsals, and special events Manage audio, lighting, video, presentation, broadcast, and stage production elements Create and execute production plans, stage layouts, and technical documentation Recruit, schedule, train, and mentor volunteer production team members Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs and system improvements Ensure production spaces remain organized, secure, and event-ready Partner with leadership to plan future production and technology needs Core Tech & Skills Live audio production and digital audio consoles Video switching, routing, and broadcast workflows LED wall and projection systems Lighting consoles and stage lighting systems Presentation software (e.g., ProPresenter) AV signal flow and media networking fundamentals Volunteer leadership and team coordination Microsoft 365 Event production planning and execution Nice to Have Experience supporting live events, performances, community gatherings, or similar environments Familiarity with NDI, SDVoE, AVB, or similar AV-over-IP technologies Knowledge of SMPTE standards and broadcast environments Rigging and production safety best practices Experience troubleshooting and maintaining AV systems Why It's Great Make a direct impact on high-visibility live events and experiences Lead and develop a dedicated volunteer production team Gain hands-on exposure to a broad range of professional AV and broadcast technologies Work in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment with opportunities to grow your technical and leadership skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
