Adolescent Mental Health Nurse - RN

Job Summary And Qualifications As an Adolescent Mental Health Nurse (RN), you will coordinate and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care within the mental health department. You will provide individualized, compassionate care using established nursing models and act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers while supporting the organization’s vision, mission, and values. Your work will contribute to overall departmental performance and clinical outcomes. What you will do in this role Assess patient condition during admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers and document care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly. Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve them proactively. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, and deliver a holistic treatment plan that promotes recovery. Serve as the interface between healthcare providers and community support systems to ensure continuity of care for specialized patient groups. What qualifications you will need Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Registered Nurse (RN) license. Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma. No travel required.
