Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC – MANUFACTURING & FACILITIES Custom Filters Direct | Bloomsburg, PA 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Custom Filters Direct is a rapidly growing HVAC air-filter manufacturer seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support our production equipment and facility. This is a hands‑on position for someone who enjoys variety. You will troubleshoot and repair manufacturing machinery, perform preventive maintenance, complete building and facility repairs, and help keep production operating safely and efficiently. WHAT YOU’LL DO Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical problems on production machinery Perform preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and production downtime Repair and maintain conveyors, automated equipment, motors, bearings, belts, sensors, and other mechanical components Make equipment adjustments, complete changeovers, and replace worn or damaged parts Support air-filter manufacturing equipment, including pleaters, Jewett machines, and other automated machinery Complete facility maintenance involving plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, walls, fixtures, and general building repairs Assist with equipment installation, improvement projects, and workspace modifications Operate production equipment when needed to understand problems and support operations Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment concerns to management Follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized work area WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, mechanical repair, or related hands‑on experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Ability to work independently and respond quickly when equipment goes down Experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, or fabrication is highly preferred Experience completing general facility or building maintenance is a plus Dependable attendance and willingness to work required overtime, including staying later or working Sundays when necessary SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS Competitive hourly pay based on experience $50 weekly attendance bonus for employees who do not miss scheduled time Medical, dental, and vision insurance available after 90 days Paid time off and paid holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr Custom Filters Direct
