Business Analyst - Banking & Financial Services

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst - Banking & Financial Services in New York, NY.Summary:We are seeking a Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives across customer onboarding, account origination, and servicing functions. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to gather requirements, create user stories, and provide support throughout design, development, testing, and implementation activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis experience within financial services or other complex business environments and have expertise translating business needs into actionable requirements in an Agile setting.Responsibilities:* Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders* Document business processes, functional requirements, and user stories* Develop acceptance criteria and support backlog management activities* Partner with product, operations, and development teams to clarify requirements* Support process design, solution development, testing, and implementation efforts* Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and production readiness activities* Analyze current-state and future-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement* Ensure solutions align with business objectives and operational requirementsRequirements* 5+ years of Business Analyst experience* Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements* Experience supporting software development lifecycle (SDLC) projects* Experience supporting testing, UAT, and implementation activities* Strong process mapping and business process improvement skills* Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills* Proven ability to create user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile environments* Banking, financial services, or enterprise operations experience preferredPreferred Qualifications:* Experience supporting customer onboarding, account origination, or servicing functions* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills* Ability to work effectively across business, operations, and technology teamsJob TypeContractCompensation50 - $55
