Job Description
Title
Registered Nurse - Vascular Lab

Schedule
Shift: 3x8 between 07:00-18:00, initial schedule Mon-Wed

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years RN experience
- Community hospital experience required
- Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- CA RN license (active at time of submission)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Preferred: NIHSS certification
- Charting system: Epic

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist with vascular interventional procedures including diagnostic angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement.
- Provide care during fistulagrams and maintain vascular access.
- Monitor procedural sedation and facilitate sheath removal.
- Utilize vascular closure devices and conduct post-procedure monitoring.
- Acquire and interpret 12-lead ECGs and manage dysrhythmias.
- Perform IV starts and administer IV medications, including vasopressors.

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine required; no exemptions.
- COVID-19 vaccine not required.
- Submission documents: copy of CA license required at submission.
- Max RTO: 7 days; no RTO within first 2 weeks.
