Our nationally recognized specialists treat a full range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, helping patients of all ages move, heal, and thrive.Join us and become part of a trusted network committed to excellence in orthopedic care.**Primary Functions & Responsibilities:*** Prepare exam rooms prior to patient arrival.* Interview patients to obtain medical information and vital statistics.* Record patient's medical history, height and weight.* Patient education to include cast care, traction care and the use of orthopedic appliances.* Input orders directed by physician (x-ray, physical therapy).* Schedule appointments necessary to patient care (return appointments, post-ops, study follow-up etc.).* Surgery scheduling to include coordination of preoperative H&P testing, therapy and pre/post-operative equipment.* Assist with patient flow and give direct patient care as directed.* Maintain clean and well-stocked treatment rooms, bracing rooms and clinical areas; ensure appropriate and timely disposal of Sharps and biohazard material.* Respond to phone calls and triages appropriately and resolve issues accordingly the same day.**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:*** Excellent customer service skills and patient focus* Strong organizational and customer service skills* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment**Physical Requirements:*** Sitting: Rarely* Standing: Frequently* Walking: Frequently* Climbing: Rarely* Bending/stooping: Frequently* Kneeling/crouching: Frequently* Reaching overhead: Rarley* Using full range of motion: Frequently* Lifting:+ Light up to 20 lbs: Frequently+ Medium 21-50 lbs: Rarely+ Heavy 51 lbs+: Rarely* Carrying objects: Frequently* Pushing/pulling: Frequently* Fine motor skills/dexterity: Frequently* Visual acuity: Continuously* Hearing ability: Continuously* Speaking clearly: Continuously* Working in confined spaces: Rarely* Exposure to outdoor elements: Rarely* Exposure to noise: Frequently* Exposure to infectious materials/radiation: Rarely* Use of personal protective equipment: Frequently* Operating office equipment: computer, keyboard, mouse, copier, printer, fax, phone, headset: Continuously* Operating vehicles, large equipment or machinery: Rarely* Set-up and work in an ergonomic, distraction-free home office: None Compensation Range for this position:$20.68 - $31.02 Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
