Inspire change and make a real difference as a Special Education Teacher in a supportive school community near Mesa, AZ. This contract opportunity begins July 31 and is perfect for passionate educators ready to positively impact the lives of K-12 students with a variety of learning needs, including those on the autism spectrum.

Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Arizona
- Experience or interest in working with students on the autism spectrum
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including support staff and therapists
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students using evidence-based strategies
- Write and implement effective, measurable IEPs
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Partner with paraprofessionals, RBTs, and other specialists as part of a collaborative team
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and school events as needed
