Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule: Nights (1900-0730) rotating weekends

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN licensure required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
• BSN and/or previous home health/hospice or case management experience preferred.
• Previous broad-based nursing experience to ensure specialized skills needed for home health/hospice nursing preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in their final stages of illness.
• Manage complex symptoms and provide supportive care to enhance patient comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate and support family members in understanding the patient's needs and care options.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines.
