Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join their client's team in California. This role requires a keen eye for detail and an analytical mind to assess project costs accurately. The position is temporary, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to important projects within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• 
  Analyzing project requirements and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.

  Collaborating with project managers and engineers to gather essential project information.
  
  



• 
  Reviewing and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  
  



• 
  Calculating material, labor, and equipment costs for project proposals.
  
  



• 
  Assisting in the preparation of detailed project budgets and timelines.
  
  



• 
  Maintaining up-to-date records of estimates, proposals, and project documents.
  
  



• 
  Communicating with vendors and suppliers to obtain cost information and negotiate pricing.
  
  



• 
  Supporting the project team in evaluating potential cost-saving measures.
  
  



• 
  Ensuring all estimates align with company standards and project requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• 
  Education requirement is High School.
  
  



• 
  Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  
  



• 
  Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
  



• 
  Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  
  



• 
  Familiarity with cost estimation software and tools is a plus.
  
  



• 
  Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  
  



• 
  Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  
  

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 1st shift

Additional Details

Min to Max pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour. Around 0% travel time is required
