Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute or chronic health conditions independently or in collaboration with physicians, depending on your credentials
• Instructing patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management strategies
• Prescribing medication and treatments within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic illness management

• Accurately documenting all relevant information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
