Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care in the labor and delivery department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, as well as developing and coordinating individualized care plans. The role emphasizes postpartum nursing rather than labor and delivery, with a focus on mother-baby care.

Job Details:

• Location: Neptune, New Jersey
• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3 days per week (12-hour shifts), minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN or BSN education, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS (American Heart Association), NRP, and AWHONN-Advanced or C-EFM certification. A minimum of 3+ years of Mother-baby nursing experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be experienced in Mother-baby nursing, labor and delivery, operating room nursing, postpartum nursing, antepartum nursing, and newborn care. Participation in every other weekend and holiday shifts is required.
